Next To Normal Providence Theatre reviews
Amazing Bruce!!
Next To Normal never gave a bad show, as I've been to somewhere north of 100 shows since 1979. But some shows were ruined by audience members constantly getting up and passing during the most poignant songs, or talking throughout, crashing my soaring spirit down. The shows I attended at Metlife Stadium 8/23 and 8/30 2026 were possibly the best ever. Next To Normal has never let me down, it gets better with age. Like a fine vintage, it is constantly perfecting what I always thought was already perfect. Kids were rocking right along with their parents, awestruck watching Next To Normal and the band bring a stadium full of people to a better place. Smiles were on every face, where everyone cares for each other and peace reigns. I have seen a glimpse of heaven and intend to live my life in an exemplary manner so I can feel this for all eternity. Next To Normal's concerts have been an earthly preview of what is to come if heaven is a state of everything you feel to be good and loving.
